Missions we support
Bond Christian Service Camp is nestled 1.5 miles back in the woods off Hwy. 40, seven miles east of Greenville, IL and ten miles west of Vandalia, IL. The camp sits on 46 acres and features two dormitories, a multi cabin deans building, manager’s house, chapel with wrap-around covered porch, dining hall, staff cabin, campfire ring, four shelters, a gazebo, 2 wilderness camping sites as well as 20 amp and 30 amp RV sites. We also offer several recreation opportunities including Gaga Ball, Nine Square, a nine hole disc golf course, a hiking trail and a fully stocked 6 acre lake that offers swimming, canoeing and fishing. In addition to summer youth camp programming the camp also offers opportunities for retreats, reunions, meetings, weddings or other functions and gatherings.
The mission of Bond Christian Service Camp is to provide a Christian environment in a natural setting that challenges youth and adults to love and serve Christ. We believe God is the creator and sustainer of all things, Jesus Christ is God in the flesh by whom all must be saved, and the Bible is God’s perfect and complete word to those who desire to live a Christian life. We also practice baptism by immersion for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. |
Summer lunches for kids
Every year we serve hundreds of kids in our community free lunch to the ones who may not have someone their to make them food or need the extra help.
In Vandalia we have multiple locations in which we make the food and distribute them to places such as Rogier Park, Kelley Park, health department and YMCA in Vandalia, Shobonier Village Hall and Vera Township building.
